Morning all – Happy FRIDAY!!
A client recently presented us with a portable HDD that had been dropped on a tile floor. She was extremely upset and anxious as this drive had all her twins photos from birth to year 5…. And of course…No BACKUP! – Talk about no pressure on us 😉 – We were able to fit a set of temporary heads from a donor drive, and even though there was some platter damage evident, we managed to recovery 98% of the photo’s and videos. Mission accomplished, and one very happy and relieved Mum.
Moral of the story – Make sure you have updated back-ups of all your important files. See you next week – Pete
