HAPPY FRI Everyone…

A client presented us with a Western Digital 2.5 inch dard drive model HL-10TMVW from a laptop that had developed a clicking noise. This one needed exstensive work in the clean room. Luckily we had a suitable donor drive, which allowed us to perform a head swap. This then allowed us to get the image from the drive and move it to a new portable drive – One happy client.

This is very much a specialist job and should NEVER be attempted at home. It is also worth noting, if your hard drive developes a tick or clicking noise…POWER IT DOWN IMMEDIATLY and seek professional advice. See you all next week – Have an AWESOME weekend 😉
